Rational Numbers is written by James Kay.
James is currently a PhD candidate at the University of British Columbia, as well as an EIT at Elmec Engineering in North Vancouver. James has a BASc in Integrated Engineering from UBC, specializing in mechanical engineering and materials engineering. He is currently a member of the composite materials research group in the university’s Materials Engineering department. His academic research focuses on reducing the cost of producing parts made from carbon fiber composite materials. In his industrial work at Elmec he works on the design and fabrication of projects such as jet-engine parts, material handling systems and chemical analyzers.
